We dived on Austria and Walls today with another full boat. Austria was pretty, but a little sandy with viz that varied between 5m and 12m, and we did a 43 minute dive. Zightings included leopard cat sharks among things. The bottom temperature was 22°C!! We then headed to Walls for some cleaner water and a little less surge. Walls did not disappoint and we were fascinated by the biological variety on offer and the abundance of fish life. At a stage, horizontal visibility was about 20m, depending which side of the sandy gully or reef one swam. The water temperature remained at a constant 22°C and we ended up doing 48 minutes. Our max depths were around 16m. Tomorrow we are expecting another day of light winds and a nearly flat ocean. All indications are that we are going to have more excellent diving.
