Divemaster
Leadership rating — train as a Divemaster to work as a dive guide and assistant instructor.
RAID Divemaster trains and certifies you to function as a dive guide and assistant instructor for qualified divers. This is the entry into professional-level instruction.
A dive computer is mandatory for this course. We can provide one, or you can bring your own.
Who
From 18 years old. RAID Nitrox and Deep 40 or equivalent. Master Rescue or equivalent. Night and navigation experience (suggested certifications). Current RAID First Aid and Oxygen Provider or equivalent. Minimum 15 hours underwater and 45 dives, of which 35 after Open Water. Medical signed by a licensed practitioner within 12 months. By certification: 60 open-water dives / 30 hours total. Before any in-water session: online registration with medical questionnaire, liability release and safe-diving statement.

What
Minimum 40 hours. Divemaster manual and skills. During the course: 2 hours confined water and 6 hours open water. Buddy Team Planner / dive-site briefing slates and wet notes. Dive computer required (ours or yours).
Where
Confined/pool: maximum 5 m / 15 ft. Open water in training: maximum 40 m / 130 ft. After certification: plan and lead no-decompression dives to 40 m, maximum PO₂ 1.4.
When
Flexible around your availability and the weather.
With
RAID Divemaster Instructor. After certification, confined-water Try Dive / Reboot only if you are also certified as a RAID Try Dive Instructor and working under the supervision of a RAID Instructor.
