Are you currently busy with your skippers course and in need of sea time or to get your surf launches signed off, or do you perhaps own a boat or have a skipper's ticket, but you are not endorsed to surf launch? Or maybe you need to hone your skills a bit under a well experienced skipper with local knowledge? We cover all those bases, and will train you to the same standards as we were held to when being trained for rescue operations. We tailor the experience to you and can advise and teach you on anything boating related from getting your boat certified, to how to launch and recover from the beach, to how to operated your vessel safely inside the surf zone.

Typical sessions for Surf Launch sign off includes doing two hour classes where you will be doing 4 separate launches and beaching. We also familiarize you with the area and take you to different beaches in the area to train you. In total, the minimum requirement is to do 12 launches and recoveries over 4 separate days to show that you are able to operate the vessel in various conditions. Contact Paul to setup your session.
