Deep 40

Deep diving specialty — plan and dive safely to a maximum of 40 m / 130 ft.

RAID Deep 40 prepares certified divers to go deeper safely: advanced techniques, proper planning, risk management, and awareness of what changes on deeper dives — whether you’re heading for wrecks or just want that extra depth with confidence.

A dive computer is mandatory for this course. We can provide one, or you can bring your own.

Who

From 15 years old, with Open Water or equivalent and a minimum of 8 hours logged in open water. Under 18 needs parent or guardian consent. Before any in-water session: online registration with medical questionnaire, liability release and safe-diving statement.

Why

Certified to dive to 40 m / 130 ft with a group or buddy.

What

Minimum two days. Online academics, quizzes and exam. Open Water entry: 4 open-water dives and 2 hours underwater. Explorer 30 (certified within 12 months) may credit dive 1: 3 dives / 1.5 hours. Advanced 35 (certified within 12 months) may credit dives 1–2: 2 dives / 1 hour. Dive computer required (ours or yours).

Where

Open water. Training depths: dive 1 at 24–30 m; dive 2 at 27–35 m; dives 3–4 at 30–40 m.
