On Saturday 22 Oct we had two PADI Discover Scuba Diving sessions at the Savoy hotel. Some were very nervous to go underwater but as they got used to the feeling of breathing underwater it was more difficult to get them out the water. All 4 of them also decided to do an ocean dive on Sunday morning.
With light wind on Sunday morning the ocean was a bit choppy with a strong surface current. As we descended on Discovery Channel reef it felt quite weird not to experience the usual surge that we have on the reef due to it being so shallow. A big ray was spotted and loads of reef fish with some huge Cape Knifejaws, Red Roman and many more. True to the name of the reef new things are seen on every dive. Here are some pics....
