Nothing quite like some mid week dives. We had the privilege of diving with Anthoon again on Thursday morning. He specifically organised his camping trip to J-Bay so he could dive with us. The previous time he was here, our boat was in for some work and we had to settle for a difficult shore dive. I promised him we will get some boat diving done on his next visit. For starters, we tried out a new marker, which turned out to be a sandy bottom and surfaced after 9mins opting to go look elsewhere. Then we did quite a shallow dive at Boneyards with some pretty interesting topography and sightings where we spotted an 80cm Yellow Belly Rock cod among things. It was pretty sandy, with plenty dead sea grass. Nudibranchs and dorids were out in full force at our third dive. Walls never disappoints and was pretty an diverse as always. 22°C top temperature and 17°C at the bottom.
