One of my birthdays, I celebrated in Cyberspace, while working at Bilbos internet cafe in Bloemfontein, between 10pm and 5am. I made friends on some IRC chat channels, and had a virtual birthday party as nobody knew it was amy birthday. Yesterday for my 46th birthday, I was in Capetown for the NSRI AGM away from my family. I was sad because I could not spend it with my own family, but my fellow Statcoms made the evening special and celebrated with me till after midnight. My @nsri_station37_jbay crew also posted a lovely message for me with a bunch of photos taken by mattg__01 on instagram , and I saw it the moment Ingot off the flight. Being a station commander is an ungrateful job, similar tonb being a sound engineer in church. I am not in it for the praises, but it is awesome when people recocnise my effort and sacrifice. Thanks for all the birthday wishes and messages. I really appreciate each and every one of them!
