After a beautiful 51 minute dive on Raggies Rest in clear 18°C water and a flat ocean, we headed back to the beach to offload divers and gear. (Contact Paul to book your dives, cruises or courses 083 521 5093) The sea was really pretty, and once all the divers headed to a restaurant for something to eat, we took another couple who's in J-Bay for the weekend on an epic Ocean Safari. Lately, visiting the 'chokka' fleet has been on our list during Ocean Safaris and today was no exception. We observed the fishermen hauling in some catches, got a bit of a history lesson on the fishing industry and then everyone had a chance to helm the boat as we headed to the surf spots. There were some little waves despite the flat ocean and then we headed past "hippo rock" aka seekoei klip before landing again on the Dolphin Beach launch area.
