AI jokes aside! No week is the same at J-Bay SCUBA. With no charters for the week, we caught up on some maintenance and admin work and did a quick trip to Port Elizabeth. @paulvanjaarsveld got to dive with the neighbours on board Ocean Hunter. They launched out of Kromme River Mouth. Doing a slipway launch and not having to deflate tires and prep our own boat felt like a holiday. (Even if it was a busman's holiday!) @gaitsmith and @ymaritz01 wrapped up another RAID Nitrox course this weekend, while we got some good rain. Between the showers, there was some time to service the steering on J-Bay SCUBA and fill a few cylinders, to be ready for the next charter. Attached are also a few photos Paul took during his dive with Ocean Hunter. They got buzzed by a decent sized Raggie and a school of Gully sharks. The dive conditions were excellent with a slightly cooler bottom of 17°C. No diving this weekend due to some surf, but In the coming week, we already have double dives scheduled for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
